Curt earned his BA from Washington State University in 1993. He majored in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design while attending WSU on an athletic scholarship, competing in the high jump for the men’s track team.

He began his career as a designer in Olympia, with the advertising agency IN/AD and quickly promoted to art director, leading the identity development and design team. In 2000 Curt accepted the VP of Marketing position at O Bee Credit Union, where he managed all brand, marketing, media and communication efforts. He resigned from the Credit Union in 2006 to co-found a full-service creative firm.

As Principal Creative Director with Coeur Creative Group, he oversaw all brand development, marketing, and creative strategy.

In 2009, while working as a communication consultant for the Washington State Employment Security Department, he started Curt Wilson Creative in order to provide creative strategy for long standing clients. In 2015 he began expanding CWC to take on more clients and intriguing new projects.

On the weekends Curt enjoys camping and hiking or simply taking in live music with friends. He continues to stay active, playing basketball, volleyball, softball and working out with his athletes at Pacific Lutheran University where he coaches the long, triple and high jump.

He is inspired every day by his four intelligent and athletic children (Kaden, Lauren, Camryn and Taryn) and loves coaching and cheering them on in their respective athletic and creative endeavors.

For over 20 years, Curt has led brand strategy and creative teams in print and digital mediums across multiple industries and sectors, including: banking, telecommunications, construction, environmental science, travel, government, education, sports, fitness and recreation.
